A marked man

by cc0028 @ 2006-05-18 - 09:39:12

The second assessor has written to me again. She has this to say:

I read your DS -- you have done some good work! I do not have any questions. I will be submitting my assessment to UoL management later today.

Congratulations on having completed your DS!

So what do you think? Does that sound like a pass?

Yes. I thought so. I suppose it's the biggest hint I'm going to get between now and October when the official result is released, that I'm not going to fail. I can't see that anyone would post a comment like that and then send in an 'F' grade.

:)

I reckon this is the time for the teensy Babycham with a view to getting into training for the bigger brut. :)

Yes. Daring to hope and so on.

I think I'll be OK. My Supervisor has now contacted me to say that both she and the second assessor have now, independently sent their marks in - and she looks forward to seeing me at the graduation ceremony just before Christmas. Although she can't tell me my grade until October ... In fact she won't even know the grade herself until the Exam Board sits in October ... (yada yada yada as our friends across the water so onomatopoeically say).

Super duper - great stuff. So I shall see the pics after cinders has been to the ball.

You 've just reminded me, I was never told my grade, I just accepted that I had passed and was glad of it. I will let sleeping dogs lie.

I'm not sure that they will actually inform me of my grade; but I do know that the assessors assign a grade. As I recall, if it's an A or an A*, you get a distinction. But I could be wrong.

Okay Mr modesty, which one did you get - they would both be individually wonderful and I would run out of superlatives...
